  1. INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE GAME FOUND ON THIS DISK.

  4.      The Airlift game found on this disk is an example of a free item given   
  5.      away by companies (in this case Stanwood Associates) to promote their   
  6.      products.
  7.  
  8.      You must have an EGA/VGA monitor to play Airlift. If you do not have
  9.      an EGA/VGA monitor the game will not work. 
  10.  
  11.      After reading the instructions go to the main menu here (Hit ESC key)
  12.      and choose PLAY AIRLIFT. 
  13.     
  14.      After you finish playing the game, type START again to go back to        
  15.      COMPUFREEBIES. 
  16.  
  17.      To exit Airlift at any time during the game, press Q. Then press the ESC 
  18.      key twice. Then just type START again to go back to COMPUFREEBIES.

  21.                                 Operation Airlift 
  22.  
  23.      Strategy  :  
  24.  
  25.           The prime objective is to save prisoners who are missing in
  26.           action, M.I.A.'s.  They are being held in the prisons in the
  27.           neutral zone between enemy territory and your homeland.  It
  28.           may be rough with tanks, rockets and other threats trying to halt
  29.           you mission.  You can break hostages out of prisons by either
  30.           firing a missile at it or bombing it.  Then you can land and pick
  31.           up the men and bring them home.  To get to the next level you
  32.           must save at least ten hostages.  Be careful, as you complete
  33.           more missions the enemy catches on and may send other enemy crafts
  34.           after you.

  36.      Things to Remember :  
  37.           
  38.            * You can only carry six(6) M.I.A.'s on board at any one time.  
  39.            * Two players are more fun than one.  
  40.            * Bombing near your own base can confuse you with the enemy,
  41.              possibly leading to your being shot down.  
  42.            * Rockets will destroy anything in their way.
